Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has successfully carved out his own identity with his debut web series “The Bads of Bollywood,” which has created a buzz in the OTT space.

However, there was a time when Shah Rukh openly stated that he did not want his son to become a star. Ahead of the release of the film “Dilwale” in 2015, Shah Rukh made a comment that recently resurfaced in public discussions.

In a later interview, Shah Rukh explained that he wanted his own stardom to remain intact until Aryan established himself independently. When questioned again about the remark during the Dilwale promotions, Shah Rukh initially denied making such a statement but later added, “I would never let my son become a star like me.”

He later clarified that many of his remarks are made in a light-hearted and humorous manner and should not be taken too seriously.
