Allegations that teachers responsible for CU admission test were blocked for 9 hours

A sensational incident has emerged at Chittagong University (CU) over allegations of a teacher being held hostage for a long time over the admission test. On Saturday afternoon, four leaders of the student union led by Chaksu were accused of chasing Assistant Professor Hasan Mohammad away from the examination center in front of the Faculty of Law. According to eyewitnesses, he was physically assaulted and his mobile phone was also searched. Widespread criticism began when the video of the incident went viral on social media. The video shows him being dragged away by some students and at one point, he was taken to the proctor's office in an auto-rickshaw. After being held hostage for about 9 hours, he was allowed to leave the campus in the proctor's car at around 9 pm. The student union leaders denied the allegations and claimed that the teacher was injured while escaping. On the other hand, the teacher himself denied all the allegations and said that he was not involved in any political repression. No case has been filed with the police station in this incident yet. The university administration said that further decisions will be taken based on the investigation report.
